Who said ‘Pink and red should never be seen…’?

I have just finished a custom order for pink and red birds and owls. The great thing about working with someone who imagines specific fabric designs and colours is that, firstly, I get to lay out all of my gorgeous fabrics and admire them again, and secondly, I find things go together that I never thought did (not only the combination that the customer has requested, but combinations that I stumble across by having it all laid out).
