Wet indoors and out

Why not another blog post or Facebook comment about the rain?

Who’d have thought huh? Headers are stopped in the paddock, sitting in water and freeing men to catch up on sleep, play, bookwork or Queensland flood footage. ‘Our hearts go out to those affected by the floods’ is a term getting lots of air-time. Like everyone, we’re certainly feeling for all of those people and can’t imagine what they are going through.

To start writing about anything else after that feels inconsiderate. Especially if I say we’re having fun in the puddles outside, or if I complain about the leaky ceiling and wet carpet inside.

So I’ll keep it to myself. We’ve nothing to complain about and everything to be happy about.
